The Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG™) Certification, offered through the National Association for Interpretation, is designed for seasonal, temporary, or volunteer interpretors who are just starting in the field or who would like a refresher on the fundamentals. If you conduct tours, demonstrations, lead hikes and other recreational activities, present living history programs, etc. then this is the program to start with.

Length: 4 days (32 hours). Takes place from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Nov. 12, 13, 19, 20.
Recommended for: Students, teachers, seasonal, temporary, new hires, or volunteers working in environmental and or history education.
