Join us for our annual winter film festival. Teton Gravity Research is the premier action sports film company and we're proud to bring the film to the Lees-McRae & Banner Elk community to kick off the start of the winter season. We're excited to be able to host our 3rd annual TGR film.
Not only is this a wonderful time to gather and celebrate climbing, but it is also an opportunity to support the snowsports community. All the proceeds benefit the Lees-McRae Ski & Snowboard Team.
Doors open at 4:00pm. Food and beer sales will be available for purchase beginning at 4:00pm and continueing till the end of the event.
The films begin showing at 6:00pm with a kick-off short-film of Red Bull's Rail Report filmed on Lees-McRae College's campus last winter featuring local pro rider, Luke Winkelmann. Seats are general admission and recommend that you bring your own chairs and blankets - THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets for Lees-McRae students, faculty, and staff are $5.
“STOKE THE FIRE” explores our athletes’ evolution within skiing and the pure joy that manifests from that process. The stoke means different things to different people based on where they are in their evolution.
